He was elected Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer in 2004. Mr. Akande has more than 22 years of domestic and international experience in economic studies, project management, engineering, construction management and operations of pipeline systems. Mr. Akande is a registered professional Quantity Surveyor and a certified Project Management Professional. He holds several certifications and licenses and graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying. He holds a master of business administration (MBA) in project management. Member Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveying (NIQS), Member of Institute of Directors (IOD).He has attended and actively participated in many Nigerian and foreign oil & gas conference.

His career path spans oil, gas, power, and more. He has attended various management courses overseas including Senior Managers courses in Cranfield Business School, England.

Retired from NNPC as Group General Manager after 30 years of various assignments in Refineries, Petrochemicals and Renewable Energy. A Fellow Society of Petroleum Engineers, (SPE) Mr. Oginjimi is a renowned technocrat with an impressive career spanning over 35 years in oil, gas, energy, and industrial sectors As an Executive Director, Mr. Ogunjimi provides a management representative on the Board of Directors with extensive knowledge of our day-to-day operations. As a result, he can facilitate the Board of Directors’ access to timely and relevant information and its oversight of management’s strategy, planning and performance

Mr. John Ajayi is an Engineer and seasoned administrator of resources. In 1983, he obtained a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife. In furtherance of his studies, he obtained an MBA degree in 1987 from the University of Lagos, Akoka, with a bias for production management & operations research..
